ITINERARY
Program
Day 1
- Arrival in Bilbao and transfer from the airport to the hotel by private vehicle.
- Welcome and reception by the Bizi Cycle Tours team at the Antsotegi Rural Hotel, located in Etxebarri, surrounded by nature.
- Briefing of the complete program of the tour, detailing the bike rides and other activities.
- Bike fitting and delivery of welcome kit: Bizi Cycle Tours jersey and water bottle.
- Short hike in the afternoon to Markina (aprox. 1 hour) to begin exploring the beautiful local area.
- Dinner at the Rural Hotel with local basque products
Program
Day 2
We will start our day with a delicious buffet breakfast at the hotel. Followed by a revitalizing Flow Yoga Session given by the professional Mercedes Salaverry, a local Yoga teacher. We will embark on a slow bike ride to the port of Lekeitio where we will enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Afterward, we will have the option to meet a local female fashion designer, who will explain the tricks to express our style to the maximum. In the evening we will have dinner at the hotel and rest for next day.

Day 3
After breakfast, we will have a session on bio-individuality and nutrition to learn how to better care for our health. Today, we will take a bike tour to the Berroja winery, where we will enjoy lunch and a visit to this txakoli winery to learn more about this traditional Basque beverage. In the evening, we will return to Hotel Antsotegi for dinner.

Day 4.
We will start the day with breakfast at the hotel, followed by a Gyrokinesis session to strengthen and stretch our bodies. Next, we will embark on a bike tour to Gernika, where we will explore this historic city. In the afternoon, we will take a hike through the famous Oma forest, enjoying its natural beauty and the artistic tree paintings. We will end the day with dinner at Hotel Antsotegi, where we can relax and share our experiences of the day.

Day 5
Today, we will cycle towards the Urdaibai Biosphere Reserve, a natural gem of the Basque Country. We will have lunch at La Kanala Beach, and upon returning to the hotel, we will relax with a professional massage and Yin Yoga and Nidra Yoga sessions. In the evening, we will enjoy a farewell dinner at Hotel Antsotegi, celebrating the wonderful experiences we have had.

Hotel Antsotegi
We’ve chosen the Hotel Antsotegi, located in a valley near the town of Eixebarria. We’ll call this homebase for our cycling and wellness experience. The Antsotegi is a charming, rural hotel made up of 15 rooms in what was once a medieval forge. Located amid the mountains, overlooking the Basque coast, this spectacular location provides the perfect venue for our retreat experience. You need only unpack once and then venture into the Basque country for days filled with outdoor adventure and soothing restorative experiences. Each evening we’ll gather at the hotel restaurant, known for its homemade native and traditional cuisine and fine wines.

The Orbea Orca M10i OMX is a professional-level road bike that embodies the spirit of Basque cycling, with a heritage tied to teams like Euskaltel-Euskadi, which has competed in major tours using Orbea bicycles. UCI-approved, this bike is designed for the most demanding races, from classic events to mountain stages in the Tour de France or the Vuelta al País Vasco. Its OMX carbon frame and Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 groupset make it an ideal choice for cyclists seeking pure performance.
BH Core Gravelx Carbon 2.6
So lightweight, that you won’t believe that it’s an e-bike. Its frame is made of carbon, with the technology used in the frames of BH’s high-end road bike range.
This bike has a significant autonomy (165Km and up to 220Km) thanks to a combination of low motor consumption and a 540Wh battery.
The Core display is fully integrated into the stem and it features a button that allows you to increase or reduce the assistance level, through an LED colour system.
